A little about me...
My background is in graphic design, a field I absolutely love. I worked in London for a few years before moving to Bristol, where I’ve been freelancing for over 15 years. I divide my time between graphic design, craft design, and my family. If there’s a gene for knitting, I’m sure I have it. I come from a long line of obsessive knitters. I learned as a child, and in my twenties, my obsession truly kicked in.
I love the blend of math, science, and art involved in designing a knitting pattern. It's fun to make knitting look beautiful, but I’m a practical person, and my designs need to function well too. This is how I got into designing baby shoes. I was fed up with socks falling off my young children's feet. I tried leather slip-on shoes, but the leather would harden if they got wet. There are some fab crochet designs, but my love is knitting, so I started creating modern patterns that would stay on. They worked really well. I started gifting them to friends to test, and they loved them too. So here I am.
