‘Harry’ Stay-On Baby Shoe
Harry is a baby shoe with an integrated sock, the pattern comes with instructions for 'with' or 'without' the sock. This is a super warm shoe that looks super cool! Its flexible design allows the sock to be worn in multiple ways; folded up underneath a trouser leg (for no naked ankles!), half down like a traditional baby sock or folded slightly over the shoe for a boot like appearance. Like all of my stay-on range, these have no fiddly ties, they slip on easily then the structured, elasticated ankle band keeps them on.

Technical Detail
The pattern has been technically edited, you will practise twisted rib, provisional cast on, joining together two fabrics, knitting in the round and Kitchener stitch. There are full photo tutorials for all of the techniques plus photo stitch guides. The pattern has no seams and minimal finishing. Blocking is advised to relax the twisted rib and give a professional finish.
Suggested Needles
US 4mm double pointed needles OR 2 lots of 4mm 32in/80cm circular needles for magic loop method.
Notes
This pattern requires soft elastic for ankle casing.
Choosing Your Yarn
The pattern was designed using a DK yarn held double. When choosing your yarn look for a rough gauge of 22 stitches, 30 rows to 10cm. Ball weight examples would be 50g (1.75oz) to a length of 115m (126yds).
